For a first/early run, Faith is simply way easier to manage hope and sickness with, so I'd recomend it over Order, unless you already know the game well enough to not need my advice in the first place. Also, with the increased production from Foreman, you can get away with using steam cores for Infirmaries, which are, though a lot more expensive to build and run, way better than relying on Houses of Healing.Īt the end of the day both has their strengths, Faith is definitely the more "beginner friendly" option, Order can get on it's level even without going into Propaganda mode, but it takes a bit of finesse to manage. On maps where it's just not feasable to get another production facility going, like Rifts, Foreman will help a LOT. It gives an enormous boost to production, and only costs a bit of food to activate, with no adverse effects or events. Foreman is the one thing that makes Order not only viable, but situationally even stronger than Faith. Morning Gatherings are slow to build Hope back up, but as long as it doesn't keep falling back down, it'll get there, especially if you send Guards on regular patrols. What Order has going for it is the Foreman branch. And if you go all the way, it will end up being the same benefit anyway. And if you would go to the very end, Faith wins again, with it's penultimate laws being simply better at what they do that Order's versions. Even then, Watch/Guard stations have to be manned and heated, and cover a much smaller area than the Chapel, though they are at least smaller in size. It can restore hope pretty well if you commit to actually going at least as far as the Propaganda Center (another scripted death, and possible scripted death of several workers if a specific event triggers), so most people who don't really want to go to extremes avoid it, because you can't really go any further than Patrol without stuff becoming really skecthy. That being said, Order does have a few things going for it. Also, Field Kitchens allow you to turn food into extra heat, which is pretty neat since Order has nothing that does that. Also, as long as you dont mind a scripted death, House of Healing is really powerful, and Shrines are the same as Agitators, except better (they also give a hope bonus, not just efficiency) and come way earlier in the tree. Depending on the news that gets shared, we will come back to you next week for the long-awaited review.Purpose laws mainly exists to restore Hope, since you have very few options with that before them, most people will say Faith is stronger, as it is way better at just that.

FROSTPUNK ORDER OR FAITH UPDATE

With the release being on April 24th, another update will be given this weekend. faith did help me a lot there so thanks to the faith gang but the problem is i couldnt solve the class conflict because i didnt want to cross the line and no death due to starvation or freezing. Yet, its only allowed to place one in the city. Frostpunk 2 is the sequel to the highly acclaimed, BAFTA-nominated society survival game. The point of both Order and Faith is to gain strength and stability, giving your people something to believe in. The temple will give hope to the faithful citizens and might even convert citizens who don’t. Yes, order lets you execute all that don't abide, but similarly, by having your word be law and declaring you to essentially be sent by God when you really aren't isn't much better. While we mentioned there is a small praying building there is also a bigger one: the temple.

You can also unlock the Evening Prayers which will raise hope and lowers discontent. However, you don’t need any engineers for it and it slightly raises the hope of the patient. In addition, you are also able to build a House of Healing which heals the sick slower than the Infirmary. These kitchens provide warm meals to your citizens and buildings near the kitchen will get a bonus to heating. Yes, order lets you execute all that dont abide, but similarly, by having your word be law and declaring you to essentially be sent by God when you really arent isnt much better. Thirdly, The Field Kitchen law allows you to place field kitchens in your city. Secondly, you have the shrines, placed near working stations it will raise the spirit of the people which will increase the efficiency of their work. One of these buildings is the House of Prayer, a small location where people can pray and were small ceremonies are held.

The Path of Faith allows you to build new buildings into the city as well as new events which all have to do with faith or religion. However, this time we can talk about the Path of Faith, a path that has more to do with devotion. The last time they wrote a developer blog about one of the paths, it was the Path of Order which is a strict way of playing the game. So, they made a new developer blog showing the Path of Faith.
